What is Bud?

Bud is a pet health tracking app that helps you keep all of your pet's health records organized in one place — vet visits, vaccinations, medications, weight, and more.

Is Bud free?

Bud is free to download and use with core features. Bud+ is an optional subscription that unlocks premium features like AI pet portraits, unlimited pets, and more.

How do I manage my Bud+ subscription?

You can manage or cancel your Bud+ subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.

Is my data safe?

Yes! Your pet health data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData. If you enable cloud sync, data is synced through Apple's CloudKit, which encrypts your data in transit and at rest.

Can I use Bud on multiple devices?

Yes. Enable cloud sync in the app settings to keep your data in sync across all your Apple devices signed into the same iCloud account.

How do AI pet portraits work?

Bud+ subscribers can generate cute AI-powered portraits of their pets. Your pet's photo is securely processed through Google's Gemini AI and is not stored after the portrait is generated.

Can I track multiple pets?

Free users can track one pet. Bud+ subscribers can track unlimited pets, each with their own health records and profiles.

How do I delete my data?

You can delete individual pets or your entire account from within the app. Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account. All associated data will be removed within 30 days.

What if I find a bug?
